We were lucky to spot faint northern lights right outside our balcony.

The host who welcomed us was very kind and friendly, she explained everything clearly and answered our questions. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and it was clean, which made cooking very easy. The location is excellent, close to a supermarket and other services. Our room was comfortable with a good-sized bed, and the bathrooms and showers were also clean, with enough available per floor so it never felt crowded. We had a very good stay and were able to rest well.

Situated in Stóri-Bakki in the East Iceland region, Lindarhóll Guesthouse features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This guest house provides a shared lounge. This was by far our favorite stay in Iceland. Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Everything is new, cozy decor. Since we were staying 2 nights, we even managed to do our laundry. Definitely recommend and would book again.
