The room was clean and comfortable - we really enjoyed sleeping on the futons. The location was perfect, most of the sights were in walking distance, which meant we could enjoyed them in the late evenings without the crowds.

A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and currency exchange for guests. Our quick two day trip to Kyoto was excellent and it was made perfect with our stay at Azukiya. When planning this last minute trip I was surprised that this B&B was available. The pictures and description on the site was exactly what we got. It was just PERFECT and gave us the Japanese experience. Our host was the sweetest and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. There are add-ons if you stay like bike rentals and breakfast but we didn't take advantage of it but we could smell her cooking every morning and it smelled AWESOME. We wish we would have taken advantage of that. The location was perfect for us. It was far enough away from the city center for us and in walking distance to the places we wanted to visit. It was also very close to the subway that we used to start our trek back home. All in all, this place was everything we expected and even more. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Haruka also gave us some nice recommendations and tips on what to do in Kyoto during our short stay. To top it off, they even gave us a ride to our bus stop in our last night. They are wonderful people.
