The room was very clean and equipped with all necessary appliances. We also enjoyed a stunning Fuji view from our room in the morning. The washroom and bath room were tidy and clean as well. The breakfast prepared by Yumiko was also incredible. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the special dish - rice cake with red bean in the first day of new year ^.^ All in all, the stay was an exceptional experience for me and my friend, and would definitely visit again!

The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

He picked us up from Kawaguchiko station and served us hot green tea. The view from the room was amazing as well.

We had a great time, the hostess was very helpful if we had any questions and came up with very nice view points of mount Fuji. The common living room was so nice that we hung out there a lot with other people.

The hosts were very kind and warm, the rooms were clean, comfortable and filled with small details. There is a living room with a kitchen, table and sofas downstairs available to the guests filled with many thoughtful elements, such as several kings of tea, snacks, books and comic books available for the guests. It brought back memories of visiting my grandparents in childhood. Additionally, this hostel is located less than 5 minutes walk away from the train station. I cannot recommend this place enough! If I visit mount Fuji area, I will definitely choose Hana Hostel again.

She picked us up and brought back to mt.fuji station. We also rented bikes from her and they were excellent to drive for 20+km and enjoy the views from all angles. Also the house and location has spirit of out of beaten track place. We loved it!
