He got us to connect with the locals: his family was visiting and we had a pleasant evening. We also got to experience the yearly local parade for the monks, something not a single travel guidebook will know about. The rooms are clean and the owner is always available if we needed something (information / laundry … ). Very good price/quality.

The breakfast was so filling and yummy, and we had a couple lunches they offer on the property, which we also recommend, it was very affordable and delicious. His wife made delicious food and Esaro arranged a fantastic day and evening tour for us. We were lucky enough to be there on the last day of the New Year celebration in which we joined the community celebration. The accomodations are rustic and just what we were looking for. Highly recommend a stay here is you are looking for a unique Cambodia experience. Esaro’s partner, whose name I can’t remember now, brought us to so many interesting places and shared a lot of information with us. He was also ready with cold water all day for us. Even took me on an outing for the day to their second property in the country. Anut, John and I had some great conversations. I hung out with Kimlang and UTI in the gardens. Kimlang is an excellent cook. I would highly recommend meal there. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. And they were just nice people to hang out with. He will just love a Anut's smile.

It’s so much more than some accommodation. We stayed for 2 nights and ate with the family both nights. Mom, the daughter prepared absolutely delicious food for us with a great variety of dishes. Breakfast is at Mom’s coffee shop around the corner. Wholeheartedly recommend!
