If I could give Tribal Village Homestay 11 out of 10, I would. Delightful ensuite bungalows in exquisite gardens, excellent food available all day & evening in the charming restaurant/bar. Smey (the host) has excellent English, is a mine of information and he and his lovely family went above & beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, being attentive without being intrusive, and unfailingly good-natured. I was privileged to engage with his students at his free school (I volunteered), which was winderful as well as fun. Many day trips on Smey's motorbike (I don't drive) tailored to my interests (history, Tribal art & culture, nature & wildlife) both on and way off the beaten track ensured that I leave - very reluctantly- with a host of memories of once in a lifetime experiences. All homestays should be this good!

Every evening there is family dinner together with everyone. The kids are the cutest ever. The owners are knowledgeable about the area and a gives you great tips were to go and how to get there. The Jungle trekking booked true the home stay is a great adventure that i deffiently reccomed for everyone who comes to visit. The guides teach you how to survive in the Jungle and the hike is absolutely breath taking, its an experience above my expectations.

Ne, Vuthy and their 3 amazing kids were so welcoming. I went their with my 6 year old daughter for two nights and extended for a while week! We didn't want to leave. Amazing value for money and the family are so helpful, we didn't get to do the jungle trip but visited all of the waterfalls and elephants nearby and even took their 3 children with us. At the end they felt like family, we ate many delicious meals, celebrated Christmas together and still keep in touch! We will for sure be back! The owner is SO accommodating, allowed me to move around the dates I’d booked so I could do the Virachey NP 2 day hike. The food is lovely and a good price. The beds were super comfy! I really cannot express how welcoming and lovely the host, Mr Pu Thea is. When we got back from the tour he even got us all some more smoked buffalo at no extra charge.
