We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.

Vientiane Central Bus station is located 1 km away. Greatly appreciate that I was able to check in at 10:00 after traveling from the states - and without hesitation. The location is not super central Vientiane but turned out to be perfect. You’re able to take the VTE airport bus to stop A3 then walk 10-15 min to the accommodation. Few minutes walk to a morning market for fresh fruits & food stalls. There is a very small local night street food market nearby as well as local street stalls along the way. The area is walkable. Room was basic but clean & comfortable. Hot water on demand, aircon worked great, large fridge. Mellow ambiance. Pool is kept in excellent condition & is a great addition! Only stayed one night before heading on to Vang Vieng. Hotel staff was able to easily book onward transportation travel. Will be staying there again prior to Laos departure.
