It is a very peaceful and greatly designed homestay (with a little outside terrace area for every room!) owned by very lovely and helpful hosts, and offering deliscious sri lankan breakfast and dinner! It has a great location close to the ancient town which makes it very easy to explore it by bike (which is available in the homestay) and 5 minutes away (on foot) from the peaceful lake. One of my best stays in Sri Lanka!

Our stay at Corner Cottage was great! The couple where so welcoming and warm. The food they cooked for us was so tasty! We did a cooking class with them aswell, which was so fun and interesting! They took such good care of us. The room is simple, yet spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The bed was big, so very comfortable for my 2 meter long boyfriend ;) You also have a living area with sofas. If you go to Anuradhapura, I would really recommend staying at Corner Cottage!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful — the room was very comfortable and stylish, easily comparable to a 3- or 4-star hotel. We felt completely safe and at home. The location is okay, but what makes this place truly special is the amazing owner and their lovely family. We had a fantastic home-cooked dinner, and they even helped us catch our early morning train. As we left, they handed us a beautifully prepared breakfast box with a sweet surprise :) Experiences like this are rare not just in Anueadhapura, but all across Sri Lanka. Highly recommended — thank you for everything!

Το MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU διαθέτει κλιματιζόμενα καταλύματα στον προορισμό Nochchiyagama. Staff were amazing and host was easy to contact and flexible. Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

Το Wilpattu Mookalan Resort προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κήπο και δωρεάν WiFi. Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.

The accommodation is in a wonderful location in front of a lake. It has many details that make it feel like home, like a tree house, your own little house with chairs and a table outside... Everything is super clean. And the best thing about Lake Wind is undoubtedly the OWNERS. It is a super nice and super attentive family, the woman prepares the food, local and delicious. The man is always carefull to take you anywhere in his tuk tuk and recommends the best places. If I return to Harabana I will 100% return to Lake Wind. Unbeatable treatment 😍

Friendly,helpful/responsive hosts in a very clean house with a nice garden area. Ten minute walk to village center. Good breakfast and changed food each morning.

Jeewa, Masha, and Oleena made our stay wonderful. Their homestay is lovely, jungle vibes. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and Masha's dinner is very tasty. Jeewaa was always giving us advice and helping us to decide what to do around. We went on a safari with a guide that he recommended, and apart from being cheaper than other places, the guide was also very knowledgeable and professional. We wanted to do some Ayurvedic spa treatments, and we found other places quite expensive, but Jeewaa recommended us a local Ayurvedic centre, and the place was half the price then other places and it was SO GOOD! Our kids had the best time, Oleena (the couples' daughter) was always so friendly and playing with our kids. Our kids ended up joining the neighbourhood kids' gang. We had the most wonderful stay if one day we come back to Sri Lanka, we would definitely go back to Oleena's homestay. Jeewaa, Masha and Oleena, thank you so much.
