The location is fantastic-- it's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh juice while our room was made spotless. The owner helped us arrange transportation, too. A very comfortable stay!

Kumu looked after us perfectly. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

Peaceful, quiet and wonderful stay surrounded by nature. Excellent location, very near to the beaches and all local amenities. Tasty and rich breakfast, decent room - great value for money. Last but not the least, the host Arul is quite kind and helpful - he even drove me to the hospital for my rabies shots (don't play with beach dogs :) At any rate, this place comes highly recommended!

We spent 3 days here and felt like home. Everything was absolutely perfect. Cozy guesthouse, homely atmosphere, pleasant host and his whole family. Beautiful beach not far from the accommodation. Excellent food, boat trip and lots of interesting information.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and had good energy. The house too. I liked it more than some of the guesthouses nearby.

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff, excellent food, free wifi and free bicycles to roam around Passikudah and Kalkudah beaches, the cheapest place to stay in Kalkudah but surely one of the best place ❤️

The best accomodation we had at this price. An impressive yard, pleasant to spend time in nature, very nice bungalows, clean, nice personal, near to the beach, next to a local shop, near to restorants.

We liked this homestay. You probably need access to transport to get here but it is close to the beach. The upstairs has a couple of en-suite bedrooms, a lounge and dining area and a kitchen with a fridge freezer. Each room has a kettle and tea and coffee. Air conditioning and fan in each room too. Breakfast was $5 per person and included a fried egg, 4 slices of lightly toasted bread, butter and jam, 4 different fruits, water , tea and coffee. Enough for us. The owner was lovely. Great value to stay here
