I also appreciate the board with upcoming events around. Makai is at a ~6 min walk from the main street and in front of a bus stop in this main street, convenient to go to downtown or surf spots. Even more convenient if you have a motorbike. Some of the restaurants nearby are good so you can just walk to get good food. Would recommend!

Restaurants with good food, drinks and lounges are at the beach within walking distance. But the best time is spent in the garden of the villa. The designers of the house have made an amazing job making sure everything fits together and feel spacious with an luxurious air. The hosts are soo sweet and helpful, they really make you feel at home. Breakfast is served in the garden and is alternating every day so you dont get bored and also get to try different classical lankese foods together with fresh fruits and tea. We will gladly stay here again and do recommend Villa Ema to all of our friends.
