The service was brilliant. We got all the help we needed. For example for getting a transfer to the pidurangala ( at 5 0’clock in the morning) and a very good taxi driver who took us to our next location (very long drive/ the taxi driver gave us a roadtrip with visits to special places). Their house is in a unique location, right in the heart of the jungle. The homemade food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend staying at their place to anyone visiting the area.

A well designed room with plugs strategically placed for convenience. Breakfast was really good, kids loved the coconut roll. Garden around the home is really beautiful. Convenient location, just a couple of minutes walk out to the Main Street with restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend booking at Sigiriya Moonlight Home. We would book again.

As an added convenience, Pidurangala View Treehouse offers packed lunches for guests to bring on excursions and other trips off-property. I loved sleeping in a forest-like environment. I really missed it, and this treehouse was a lovely stay in that regard. The noise/sounds/music from the forest at night is the best. We really enjoyed everything: the treehouse, the view on the rock, the Loris tour at night, the breakfasts/lunches/dinners, and the simple but clean facilities, the safari... Make sure to discuss with the host about the different activities you can do around the rock (time, price, etc.). The host will help you out the best that he can, including dropping you at 5am at the bottom of the rock if necessary! Very kind family, business encouraged, I would come back there 100%.
