As a solo traveler I can't recommend this enough.

It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Feels like a slice of luxury for the price. High ceilings, super spaces villas, felt like a real nice homely spot. So clean, comfortable and stylish. Just 5 mins to the beach and some nice local spots to eat at near by. Would 100% recommend this spot. Family and owner were really lovely and attentive but offer space and privacy as well Also the WiFi is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Thanks so much!

Parasol dore is a recently renovated guest house in Dickwella, where guests can take a dip in its infinity pool and make the most of its free WiFi, private beach area and water sports facilities. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a garden. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. What a hidden gem! Jeremy and the team are excellent hosts, attending to every request we had, whether it was transport, excursions, or restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is perfectly situated at a comfortable distance from both Dickwella and Hiriketiya, offering perfect peace and tranquility. There is a wide variety of traditional and modern dining options just a short tuk-tuk ride away. The place is immaculately clean, with the grounds extending to a gorgeous beach that was peacefully quiet (which we loved!). A big shout-out to Roshan and his lovely daughter Nikya, our trusty tour guide, who were brilliant in giving advice and organizing any outings we took. A fantastic stay with some great memories made. Highly recommended!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Digital Nomads is set in Weligama, 26 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium and 26 km from Galle Fort. It is located 1.2 km from Abimanagama Beach and offers a shared kitchen. The guest house also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. We really enjoyed everything about our stay at Digital Nomads. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, the wifi was fast enough to stream video calls for work, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the quiet peaceful location and property were perfect to relax and enjoy ourselves. We would definitely stay here again. It's our favorite guesthouse we stayed at in our 12 weeks in Sri Lanka. We initially booked 10 days and ended up extending it to 4 weeks because we enjoyed it so much. As well you can't be the value for the price anywhere.
