They helped me to print boarding pass, it was a big relief, as on Sunday all places for that purpose in the city were close. I was impressed by paintings on the walls - the villa is like a proper gallery full of art works!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. A beautifully restored Riad, tastefully furnished which oozes history and possibly one or two ghosts! We had the place to ourselves which suited the four of us but might not suit those who are expecting to meet fellow visitors. Extremely quiet but the hussle and bustle of Taroudant life is just outside the door. Very well located for the two main souks and Place Assarag where you can sit drinking mint tea and watch the world go by. We had been warned that November could be cold in the morning and night and it certainly was. I managed to swim each day but it was cold as the sun didn’t really get to heat the pool. We ended up staying for five nights (I extended our stay no problem). There’s not a lot to “do” in Taroudant in the way of touristy things but for me, just wandering the labyrinth of streets and looking at all the different corners of the city was fascinating and enough. We did one day trip to Tioute which was a highlight if you’re into agricultural systems and production…fascinating. Fully functioning kitchen was good to have.

All the staff were fantastic and the breakfasts were the best we had whilst in Morocco! We shall definitely be back for a longer stay.
