There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Every room is equipped with a terrace with lake views. We loved everything about Boat and Boost Amsterdam. It was an ideal getaway spot for the two of us. Check-in was easy and Jan Paul, the delightful host, was there to greet us upon our arrival. We stayed in the smaller of the two houseboat apartments and it was perfectly cosy and comfortable with enough space for two. The apartment was spotless. Full marks as well for creative use of space and modern well thought out craftsmanship. While slightly off the beaten path relative to Amsterdam's city centre, its location made for very tranquil living away from the bustle of city centre, yet close enough to be within convenient reach of Amsterdam's main attractions. There are several restaurants as well as grocery stores a short walk away if needed. Public transit to downtown is quick, easy and right around the corner. A Highly recommended Amsterdam houseboat experience.

There is bike parking lot as well . The neighbourhood fantastic . Nieuwendammerdijk is a charming street houses like in a romantic countryside movie . The appartment is perfect size for a 4 person family to spend the nights and have a dinner / breakfast at home. The kitchen fully equipped (nespresso , water heater, toaster, microwave owen and inductive double cooker). The 2 sleeping rooms are small but enough for sleeping . The beds are not as hard i like but still comfortable. The bathroom is nice , large shower , double basin and a toilet. we got 4 different color towel sets which is practical to not mix them .
