Located in the quiet and pleasant village of Oudeschild, where we highly recommend trying the fish at De Oude Vismarkt (the oysters are amazing!) and taking a walk along the sea to Fort de Schans. Given the quality offered, the apartment is much more affordable than the average in Texel.

It honestly surprised me because it looks and feels better than the photos suggest. The house is incredibly cute and authentic and gives a real Texel vibe. The owner greeted us, showed us around, and for the rest of the stay we had complete privacy. Great location for exploring the island both by car or bicycles. And the neighbor's cat would wait to say 'hi' every morning! :D
