Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

As we were the only customers during that night, we had full "private" access to the entire facilities (jacuzzi, extremely large TV and excellent sound system, small fitness room, kitchen,...). Quiet like no other place, very comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well furnished, clearly stuffed by someone that uses it themselves. The amount of facilities is outstanding.

It is located in the center of the city. The whole apartment has fully equipped kitchen. There's clean bathroom. I love the cosy vibe inside the apartment. Bed with memory foam is comfortable to sleep on. Theres window everywhere in the apartment which is I like.
