Just a small note: the path is a little steep, so keep that in mind if you’re carrying a heavy backpack or rolling luggage. We were really lucky that the owner gave us one of his best rooms on the top floor — with a breathtaking 270° view. The room itself is spacious, simply furnished, and has a balcony. Honestly, the view says it all: on clear days you can see the Annapurna (from the terrace), and when it’s cloudy, you still get a sweeping look over the city, valley, lake, and even people paragliding. Absolutely stunning! Breakfast was simple but delicious, with portions that were more than generous. One evening, they even asked if we’d like dinner and served a home-cooked dal bhat that was really good. You can choose to eat in the dining area downstairs or upstairs, where the views keep you company. Note: Meals come with reasonable charge. ⭐ 200% for the view and hospitality!

Very beautiful room, tasty food and good organization for safari! Guiding safari is very good and the price is better than at some other place. Highly recommend!

The hotel staff were very warm and helpful upon arrival, offering an arrival drink and helping us get bags to the room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff helped arrange a bus to take us from Bhaktapur to Pokhara, and took us to the bus stop in the early morning. The restaurant was prompt and tasty. The location is prime in Bhaktapur- easy to walk around from the Hotel.

Bobby is an excellent, caring and friendly host,he picked me up from the bus stop, waiting patiently as traffic held us up. A ride on the back of his motorbike to the hotel was great fun! Room spacious, double and single beds, wardrobe, chair and table, several power points, clothes stand. Directly outside the room is a wash basin, shower room and toilet next door, plus kitchen with kettle. Each guest is on a seperate floor, so very private. Sat up on the roof terrace in the sun one morning too. Central position, 2 minutes from Durbar Square, plenty of local shops including a supermarket next door to the hotel.

From the didi who made our rooms, to aunty who took us around the village on our first day, to Vicky who is always there to help you with any kind of bookings, we are grateful for their warmth and hospitality! :)

Το Laxmi Homestay with main square view είναι ένα κατάλυμα με θέα στην πόλη που βρίσκεται σε Μπακταπούρ. Προσφέρει εστιατόριο και υπηρεσία δωματίου. I am a single solo woman traveller and Navin was so entousiastic that I stayed at his homestay. It is a nice family who make you feel so welcome in their house. I would like to experience the Nepalese way of life, and I did. I went with him on his morning prayers, ate the same as the family, went to see the Kathmandu Valley by scooter (everybody drives like They are crazy, but I felt very safe with Navin. And the best part is that he takes his guests to festiviteit/parties, also of his family. So I was invited to the celebration of his 6 months old nephew, who ate his First Rice. It was a party with more than 200 persons, eating and dancing. And They all liked it that I was there too, so nice. So blessed to experience this. Thank you Navin and your family, for these wonderful experience 😊

Beli Guest house is a really nice place with wonderful hosts. The family owning it is just amazing! They helped me with all the questions and requests I had. I was staying during Dashain festival so they even gave me a blessing and nice lunch. I stayed on the last floor, so the view to the lake was super nice and my bed was really the most comfotable in Nepal :) Room is minimalist, but with all the necessary things in it. There is also rooftop terrace, kitchen and unlimited filtered water. And it's really close to the lakeside and the main street.
