The room was amazing. Big space with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom is also big and very clean. I cannot eat gluten and the staff bought gluten free bread and muesli for my breakfast, much appreciated. The terrace is fantastic for breakfast.

The location was much better than I anticipated, closer to the centre than I thought,and in a quiet residential street The house was warm, clean and the bedroom was spacious with comfortable double bed. There was a duvet on the bed but also an extra blanket and heater was available if required.The ensuite was also a bonus I thought the host was fantastic and made me feel welcome in his home. I travel a lot and usually stay in motels, but as a solo traveller it was great to engage in interesting conversation including his work as a scientist Overall I really enjoyed my stay. I think it was great value for money and highly recommend It Cosy I would definitely book again next time I’m in Gisborne
