His wife cooked amazing food, love especially their soup and trout!! His daughter taught us to make simple bracelets that was really fun and beautiful to have something handmade to bring home. The room is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I slept very well 2 nights. Always hot water for tea and coffee. Hot shower is hot! View is spectacular. I do recommend staying at least 2 nights to feel the tranquility and peace on the island.

This was probably my favourite stay in all of my travels across Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. I had a really special stay, dare I say a spiritual experience on the 8th of the 8th. Communication with Jose Louis and family was great from beginning to end, there were enough activities offered to make the most of the time, with also opportunities for peaceful solo time. Pilan’s cooking is incredible. Highlights were the sunset from the mountain, joining in the community dancing and fire ceremonies in the plaza and just the general chats with the family around the dinner table with the other guests. I felt so welcomed, warm and at ease - this was my home away from home for a night, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. It takes special kind of people to make you feel this was so thank you Jose Louis and Pilan and family for welcoming us to your beautiful home.

Beautiful views. I highly recommend staying here, Isaac and his family are lovely and took care of us. It is impressive what they have been able to create in the middle of the floating village. There was hot water and we were toasty at night as isacc brought us hot water bottles (we didn’t need the heater). Isacc took us on a tour around the islands with his traditional boat and taught us quite a lot about the history and way of life. Do bring a book and there isn’t any wifi although we had cell network. It was a nice way to disconnect and enjoy the views.

The room and the bathroom in such a good shape and new condition! Super clean and most importantly very nice and hot shower(had to wait few mins tho until it warms up). You might think you are far away from the central but there is a minivan that cost 1 soles takes you straight to central part within less than 10 mins and it comes so frequently that you will never have to wait! Big plus for letting us stay without a problem in the place for the whole full day (as we had to get the bus at night to Cusco). Very quiet location!

Ilda, his sister, and mum Juana delivered amazing local food, dish after dish of local food. With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

I had a really good time in Puno, thanks to my experience in Inca Palace Hotel. The room and services met all my expectations and Marina, the hotel manager went above and beyond to make me comfortable and was really proactive in making sure I had a good stay. On my departure, she even waited for the taxi she ordered for me in the street, while I was still lounging in the hotel, and made sure the price was capped. I would go back 100%
