We loved this place so much! Ray the host is very accommodating and friendly, he is a pleasure to be around. You could chat to him for hours, he has so many great stories to tell. This is a lovely property in all respects. The hosts have invested a huge amount of time and effort in the gardens and cottages. The very large garden is especially nice with mature trees, flowers and fruits. The setting is very peaceful. Just a couple of minutes off the highway and is very close to the town of Mumbajao. There are two standalone cottages and one block of three (side by side) for a total of five. The aircon is cold, the kitchen is useful and the bathroom is spacious. All the fixtures and fittings are new. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will certainly be back.

I loved that it is locally owned, Abigail, JR and their family are such lovely people and so hospitable, welcoming and helpful. The children are so sweet and the family do everything to make your stay more comfortable. Also the backpackers I met at this hostel were the best!! It definitely draws a certain kind of traveller. The chill out places are lovely, dorm room is huge, big double beds and awesome sunrise views if the weather is right! Also love the friendly and weird ginger cat and wifi worked well!

The view, the garden and the landscape is beyond beautiful! Clean, spacious apartment (we loved the fridge and the stove!), and a very kind, helpful and welcoming host. We rented scooters so the road to the accommodation was no problem at all (safe, concrete road, only 10 minutes from the center of Mambajao). We can’t recommend it enough if you want a peaceful stay in the middle of nature (:
