Ana and her family were so helpful.They assisted us with transportation, activities and that's how we found out about the expedition tour from El Nido to Coron which we loved! This is a small, traditional style property with basic amenities but the home like feel makes up for that. Ana shared the property history which was very interesting. She is a wealth of information! We had a delicious breakfast each morning that they tailored to your schedule.Great value!

The location was a wonderful surprise at the end of the road to Hartman beach. A well-groomed beach among the creatively made and enchanting bamboo lodgings greeted us. Staff had ensured our pickup from the airport was smooth even though we weren't quite in the right place. A cozy bamboo courtyard with artwork, sitting spots, hammocks, a bar, tourist information, handy kitchen and ample showers and toilets greeted us. Looking out to sea, the calming waves and clear water invited us to explore. Yes, at some times of day the water is cloudy as the tide comes in an out. That added to the adventure and anticipation of when it'd be clear again. Sunsets and sunrises were bar-none! All of the staff at Bamboo Nest, including Jonathan and Tina the owners, were incredibly personable, courteous, fun, and helped us in all sorts of ways to make it the best stay. The smoothness and help with tours and so on made it easy. Being invited to eat meals together, and jam, spending evenings singing and drumming with our hosts was fabulous. The intrigue, romance, functionality and friendliness of Bamboo Nest exceeded our expectations.

The host jonathan was super kind and friendly and the whole place soo nice with lovly details and a lot chill areas and a kitchen. For our taste it was perfect! We really loved the place. You can walk to a beach through the neighbourhood and relax at bamboo nest beach, the second hostle from jonathan :) The beach is not perfect for long swims because the water has low height and many plants and is a bit muddy, but you can walk to a sand bank which was fun and a bit of an advantage. During the night dogs and cats can be loud but for us it was totally worth it!! We booked only one night first but extended to three haha <3

This is an incredible property. The hosts are so friendly and helpful, and the room is spacious and spotlessly clean, all for an unbeatable price. The staff also help you to arrange tours in the local area for a great price and will make a delicious breakfast to order in the morning.

We stayed 2 nights there and it was great! The hotel is beautiful, you have different terasses, one common kitchen, The rooms are cosy, comfortable and clean, with good AC. Breakfast (supplement) is very good and served on the terasse in the morning. We could do early check-in (supplement to pay) because we arrived at 7am, and we could let our backpacks in a safe place the last day, before leaving for our next destination. The staff is amazingly nice and helpful. They really care about their hosts and do everything so you feel at ease. The area around is very popular, so do not hesitate to take a Grab at night or the metro (during the day), but the place is closed with a guardian at the entrance and a barrier, so no problem :)

I liked everything about Rice Homestay....The location was perfect-in the centre of Banaue...The room was large and very clean.Sleep quality was excellent...I had all my meals there during the 3 days and the food was very good....I want to mention the staff especially-Mimi,Joemar and most of all Bambino.I wanted a 2 day tour of Banaue and around and Bambino arranged this for me.We went by tricycle and Magellan ( Machete ) the guide/driver was top class...I saw everything I wanted to see.. Rice Homestay is top class and is definitely worth returning to....Top marks...10 out of 10.
