At the homestay, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Marvelous rustic mansion in São Jorge with an incredible view of Pico from our bedroom. The house is beautifully renovated and the walls are covered with art. Close to Velas for the ferry and easy access to majestic fajãs and hiking trails. Dr. Graça and Catarina were incredible hosts. We felt totally at home and they gave us great tips every single day. The breakfast was delicious and rich, served in a charming room.

Staying here is an experience: the decor is outstanding, and whole vibe of the house is nice! They prepared breakfast earlier for us knowing we had to leave early for scuba diving, which was a very kind and made our day!

Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!
