Claudia and Tiago go about their business on the farm with endless love and patience, followed by numerous dogs at all times! All of the animals, from the dogs to the goats to the horses, are extremely friendly and relaxed. They truly seem to be living peaceful, happy lives together in their new home. The hosts couldn't have been kinder. Claudia picked me up from the train station, showed me around the farm, introduced me to her visiting friends, and let me help out with feeding time. We had great conversations and she's truly a magical person who has created a magical place. I highly recommend it for solo travelers who want to find both connection and tranquility! The accomodation was brand new and everything was spotless. Claudia delivers fresh breakfasts outside the door each morning and made me a special gluten free option. (There is a gate around the terrace in front of the accommodation so you can sit outside and eat without a friendly donkey sharing your meal ;)) I can't wait to visit Quinta das Caçadoras again ❤️
