Really nice, clean, comfy and cozy rooms. The hosts are incredibly friendly and attentive and were more than happy to accommodate us even though we made a very last minute booking.

The staff is super nice, the place is cute and everything was thought to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Beautiful property on the coast in Queimada surrounded by nature (great star gazing on a clear night) and with a direct view of Mount Pico and Faial. Absolute tranquility, first class installations and very kind and helpful hosts.

Το Casa dos Rui´s είναι σε Velas και έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα καθώς και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους του καταλύματος. We had a very nice time at the home of Ruis, and we only wish we could stay longer. The house is very clean, the room we booked comes with a nice private bathroom, and we could also use the kitchen. The hosts waited for us at the port, as our boat was late, explained the most beautiful points on the island, and helped with our car rental, and found a taxi for the faja hike we did one day. In the evening we had very nice conversations with Rui the uncle, while listening to the most fantastic cries of the cagarro birds flying above our heads and the nearby rock - it is one of the most memorable things from this island. The house is 15-ish minutes walk to the center of Velas, as well a big supermarket. The whole town is very safe and pleasant. The island is very beautiful, with some dramatic scenery, and our most honest advice would be to stay longer on Sao Jorge, if possible. The faja hike is one of the most pleasant and enjoyable hikes we have done.

Super flexible with check-in and check-out, and also available to pick me up at the ferry or airport! The accomodation was super clean, and you can have meals looking at Pico Mountain. There's also a kitchen and a big fridge, and also a living room :) My stay was perfect. I will come back still this year again!

Loved the space it provided, Kitchen items were great. The breakfast was good, the pool was nice. Grounds were well taken care of. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
