It's a small hotel in the historic center walking distance to a lot of the places you would like to see in Funchal. The room and facilities are simple, modern, comfortable, and clean, The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast (included in the room price) is basic but sufficient for my needs, with a variety of breads, cereal, cold cuts cheese, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, coffee/tea etc. The AC in the room worked well. I would happily stay here again if I returned to Funchal.

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff amazing and caring and breakfast was delicious. We even asked for breakfast to take away earlier one day and they prepared it for us.

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 500 metres from Beach Pedradeira. The guest house features family rooms. Everything was very good. The place is close to the harbour and many good restaurants. We loved to go to the bakery for our morning tea. A modern - clean room with a little balcony. The host Pedro was indeed very helpful and service minded. It was a great experience to stay in Canical and meet Pedro

Horizon Retreat in Calheta provides adults-only accommodation with an infinity pool and a garden. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The homestay provides a fitness room and a shared kitchen. Very nice location, super friendly host! The garden and swimming pool are awesome, we got many tips where to eat and what to do. Overall the western part of the island was great and rather quiet compared to the rest. Good choice!

Girao Cape is 12 km away and Santana's Traditional Houses is 43 km from the guest house. I had a wonderful stay at Cozy House. The place was spotlessly clean and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Machico, Vale dos Ilhéus is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. With city views, this accommodation features a patio. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the sea and mountain. Fátima's place is really cute and feels very homey from the minute you enter. Everything was really clean and smelled great. The outside area is super lovely and has a great view of Machico, the kitchen is super large and there is loads of room to store all your food. On top of that Fátima is just the nicest person! The room is rather small but the big outside and common area make up for it.
