Trieste Port is 49 km away and San Giusto Castle is 49 km from the homestay. We really enjoyed our stay. We received a friendly welcome, and felt like we were good friends coming for a visit. The room was recently renovated and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The fridge had lemon water and wine. The room was equipped with a kettle and pod coffee.

We had a great stay. The House is really modern and has everything you need and the view from the terrace was just a dream. Our host even showed us a bit around smartno and gave us recommendations for dinner. We ended up buying a nice bottle of wine and spent the entire evening on the terrace talking and watching the sunset. The kitchen and living room are really spacious, And the breakfast was beyond our expectations, really good!

We loved our stay at Pri Marjotu! It was the best sleep of our trip, and the property was absolutely stunning! The family/staff that run the property were also available and beyond helpful with any of our needs. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed spot with amazing restaurants within a quick 2-20 minute drive.

We are very demanding ourselves regarding our living environment and Marko’s rooms have been just up and beyond that standard. He really did a fantastic job in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The atmosphere of the rooms is magic - total silence and permanent cool temperature with really comfy beds. Nothing beats a good night’s sleep!

Beautiful surroundings, a charming room, a lovely backyard, and a refreshing pool — all thoughtfully refurbished with great taste and respect for tradition. The wines and breakfast were truly five-star, with special attention to dietary needs, which I sincerely appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!

Featuring mountain views, Hiša posebne Sorte features accommodation with patio, around 29 km from Trieste Train Station. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We loved our stay at Hisa Posebne Sorte! The dinner was delicious, staff very friendly, and gave us a great recommendation for a winery to visit. They also helped us find a wonderful e-bike rental so we could spend the day biking around the valley. It has a very small town feel to it, in the best way, and the hospitality was superb. It’s in a great location for cycling, hiking, vineyards, and visiting the caves. They were very eco-friendly, which my wife and I really appreciated.

The homestay has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a patio with mountain views. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. Fabulous place. Just perfect. But if you don't do stairs, because of knee problems, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise it's Fabulous
