Such a fantastic guest house, run by the most accommodating, kind and attentive family. They went above and beyond to help us in every way during our stay at Baiyok house. The room we had was a great size, very clean and a generous double bed with wonderful views over a forest hill. Shower has great pressure and gets nice and hot. Turn downs, fresh towels and room refresh are done to keep it nice during your stay. We were unexpectedly provided a freshly cooked Thai breakfast on two of our mornings, which was absolutely yummy! One morning we couldn't have this as we went diving, but fresh food was generously prepared for us on our return which we didn't expect, but were really grateful for... If you're a diver you'll know what kind of hunger we had after 3 dives... So kind! On other mornings fresh fruit and some biscuits were available. There are various coffee sachets and biscuits available in the kitchen for any time of the day you fancy a snack and they kindly do all the washing up and keep the area really tidy. There's another communal area you can enjoy eating breakfast in to save any smell or crumbs in your room, our just to hang out in if you need a little change of scenery. It's a modern guest house with old school values which we found to be absolutely charming and generous. The location is great, just a walk across the main road and down to the centre of phra ae beach in five minutes. Plenty of nice eateries on the road, would suggest The Glass House & The Backyard. Really well stocked local supermarket a few doors down as well, for anything you need. Seven eleven also available but a bit further away. Also a place to do your washing just down the road, 3 min walk away, ours all came back smelling really fresh and no colour runs or missing items.

Post Office Ko Lanta is less than 1 km away and Police Station is 16 km from the guest house. Great location for exploring old town. Very friendly owners that go above and beyond to help out with bookings, taxis, laundry, scooter hire, etc. Good english too! The photos do not do the room justice (the owner should clarify that you get sea view from the room and it includes a self contained kitchen, lounge and private balcony). It is all shown in the photos on booking.com, but it is not clear that you get everything as part of the "double room with sea view and balcony," and not just the house as a whole. Place is newly refurbished with great a/c, strong wifi, comfy bed, and a large fridge. Awesome view.

Very friendly host and super room! We rented a motorbike directly from Ying and she even organized a selfmade authentic Thai breakfast for us. Also, she really helped with our onward journey to Langkawi and I enjoyed talking and getting to know her! We will be back :)

Everything, customer service was fantastic. Breakfast and the views were amazing, and the bath on the deck! Wow. Comfy beds, grocery stores close and some restaurants. Great place to stay at a great price. New bungalows with modern interiors, great AC and wifi, and comfortable bed. Patio with deck chairs and hammock. 5 min walk to a great section of Long Beach. Friendly owners. Only downsides are noise from mosque and from cicadas (mosque loudspeaker is actually relatively low volume for a typical mosque, and I usually slept through 530am prayer call without earplugs…the cicada noise is insane at certain times of day and is a spectacle to behold…being earplugs for them if you plan to spent time on patio).

The manager was really nice. Forgot his name, but an example for a lot of hotels. Manners and values were spot on!
