Very clean and artfully decorated room. The host is meticulous and friendly. Property is walking distance to the train station and many restaurants.

Great location near shops, restaurants and Tuk Tuks for Charlie Beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. If you want a western breakfast you can't beat their sourdough toast and delicious homemade yoghurt. Their homemade coconut ice cream served with mango and peanuts is sheer bliss. They also have a shop with a much more interesting selection of clothing than anywhere else on the island. I'd definitely go back.

Let me start by saying that this is a lovely, peaceful, characterful place to stay and I really enjoyed my time here.  But it's not a 10 or really even a 9.something as the limited number of reviews suggest. I actually changed my booking from 6 nights here to 3 here and another 3 somewhere a bit more modern at the very north of the island and was pleased that I did.  Here's what you need to be aware of before you book here (there were no photos of the room or bathroom when I booked!). Pros it's a 15 minute, peaceful walk from the local fishing village with nice local restaurants and shops and a bit away from anything touristy (which isn't much on this island to be fair!) the hosts are lovely and smiley and can't do enough to help, although they don't speak any other languages, so bring google translate! they have a bike / motorbike / kayak for use, if a little battered and squeaky The views are stunning and it's SO peaceful!  It's a great place to unwind and reset there are lots of characterful little hermit crabs who rustle around in the undergrowth in the evening. They love bits of fruit, especially coconut :)

Το Villa Pateh βρίσκεται σε Trang, σε απόσταση 41 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Σταθμός Τρένου Trang και παρέχει καταλύματα με εξωτερική πισίνα, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κήπο και κοινόχρηστο... Beautiful spacious rooms, with excellent service. The hospitality and kindness of the staff but also villagers in nearby surroundings is like we’ve never seen before. I can say we’ve made friends and they will be certainly see us back at Villa Pateh one day. When we first arrived we really looked at each other wondering if we died and went to heaven. We had seen the pictures but the place was surreal as we walked around in the homely decorated house with the calm piano music at the background. As vegans the meals were something we were slightly worried about on the first day -when we found out they mainly served local fish and meat dishes at the hotel. (which I believe would be amazing for non vegans I’m sure) But the management were so kind and helpful that the next day they found delicious solutions to make the local dishes with tofu, tempeh, mushrooms and whatnot. If you want a taste of the real Thailand, want to meet local people and if you are interested in their culture and way of living then this is the place to be. I’d thought I’d write a book as review about how an amazing time we’ve had at this place but I don’t want to ruin other people’s first impression either. Let’s say it was one of the most surprising, unexpected and uncommon holiday experience of our lives. I certainly would’ve stayed a little longer to get to know some more of these lovely locals and experience some more of that simple happiness of just being.

Το Libong de loft ลิบงเดอลอฟท์ είναι σε Ko Libong, Koh Libong, σε απόσταση 1,6 χλμ από Παραλία Panyang. Really cozy place to stay and chill. The room was lovely and a traditional Thai breakfast was provided every morning along with bottles of water for the day. The best thing about the property though has to be the hosts! What a lovely couple. They were so kind to myself and my partner and made us feel very welcomed and totally at home. We had some cool conversations where one of the hosts demonstrated her impressive English! She also educated us on the 2 different types of mango trees they have on the land and also prepared one of the sweet fruits for us, it was delicious! The husband also makes his own coffee and we were lucky enough to try that too! I believe we tried a medium roast and it did not disappoint. But as a whole, the hosts really made our stay special.

Το Baan Namthip Homestay Trang บ้านน้าทิพย์ โฮมสเตย์ตรัง βρίσκεται σε Ban Huai To (1), σε απόσταση 26 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Σταθμός Τρένου Trang και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν... If you want to experience local culture, this is the place to go. San is a great host, he knows so much about what to do and see in the area, you can ask him anything. He always does his best to help you. He also took us to the local elementary school so that we could interact with the kids, for them to practice their English. Very nice experience. He also did laundry for us for a low price and cooked us some home made dinner. Everything was perfect, I would gladly come back.
