We appreciated being able to use the kitchen and refrigerator. Parking right in front of the house. Peaceful location...any easy walk to the small town center for restaurants/cafes/shops. WIFI worked well.

Perfect stop for travelers from Tataouine to Matmata. Highly recommended!

Located in the middle of nowhere, it provides you with much needed distance from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. You are just a few minutes driving away from classic Star Wars filming locations and the accommodation itself fits well into the Berber surroundings. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good and the rooms were cozy. A bonus: the stars in the sky were beautiful, since there is not that much light pollution around. The drive to the hotel is incredibly scenic.

The dinner and breakfast is exceptional, and served in the owners' gorgeous cave dining room that is stuffed with local wines, olive oils, honey and more. Really, there isn't a thing to fault - the owners mentioned long careers in hospitality before they opened L'Auberge and it shows - from the way the rooms have been set up to the bedding, everything is thought through. Strongly reccomend a visit!
