Although the owner didn’t speak English, we managed to communicate without any issue using Google Translate. They were also very accommodating as to allow me to check-in earlier than expected, as my bed was already made. The location is also ideal to go and visit Xitou Nature Recreation Area.

Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning by the owners, and included delicious homemade dough sticks. The children loved being able to play in the garden and seeing the chickens, rabbits and turtles. The location was in a quiet area on the edge of town but still in walking distance of a 7-11 and restaurants.

The homeowner is lovely and provides you with everything you need, even a great kitchen that you can cook in. You have to have a car to get there, and the place isn't close to the town, so you will have to drive to get food or buy groceries and cook by yourself, which for us was a great experience.

At the homestay, the units have bed linen and towels. The family room with two large double beds were spacious and comfortable. We only stayed for one night and did not miss anything. The rooms and the bathroom were very modern and you can see that the owner put much thought into the decoration. Very friendly owners. Breakfast was homemade and very delicious. Nice location close to the Main Street but very quiet at night with parking options.
