First time I stay at a place that is actually better than the photos! Absolutely incredible place, our best in Zanzibar by far. The villa in perfectly maintained, the chef’s food is best we had so far. Ralu and Lee and very welcoming. Really really recommend.

The location, right on the beach. The garden settling overlooking the sea is very relaxing where you have a perfect view of all the fishing activities. The coconut fish curry we had for dinner was excellent. All the staff are very friendly and helpful - where you felt it was more like a home and you were not just another number passing through. I liked the massage from Caroline - healing hands - very thorough. It is a nature inspired designs.

Thanks Beth and Dullah for the wonderful stay! This was the best shower we had after a month travelling East Africa, the kitchen staff do an amazing job and even cooked us a banquet on our last night! Cocktails were also delicious. We swam in the ocean at high tide and at low tide the pool was great to cool off. Beth was kind enough to organise a mangrove tour one day and a spice and stone town tour on another day for us. If you are looking for a relaxing, friendly, welcoming place to escape the islands tourism scene then look no further!

Set in Jambiani, in the middle of a local village , Zanzistar Lodge boasts a sun terrace with outdoor pool and is located just a short stroll away from the beach. Very good location, few steps (maybe 50 m or even less) from the beach, with their own restaurant ( very nice and cosy) on the beach, where you can leave your things and go to the sea. The food is good, for breakfast a lot of different things. The outdoor space is decorated in very nice tropic style with a pool and lot of palm trees and with nice artistic details. The rooms are big and also very nice with a lot of natural light, great bed and very clean. The staff and the owner are very professional and helpful. I had a really terrible sea sickness one day and the owner responded immediately with some medicine and offered to take me to the doctor if I needed. Luckily the medicine helped. Also some restaurants and small stores just few steps from the lodge and you can go for a walk even in the evening. The village is quiet. Locals are very friendly and I felt totally safe despite the fact that I travelled solo. I would warmly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!

The hosts, the food and the service were exceptional. Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Το Game Fish Lodge βρίσκεται στο Nungwi, στην πιο ήσυχη βορειοανατολική ακτή της Ζανζιβάρης, κατά μήκος της παραλίας και διαθέτει εστιατόριο, μπαρ και ηλιόλουστη βεράντα. This place is really amazing. It’s like a little quite paradise not far from most overturist places in Zanzibar. The view to the ocean is beautiful, also you can swim in nice and clean pool and there is a sandbank nearby. If you want to swim direct you will need watershoes. In Game fish lodge you can relax in privat and enjoy nice atmosphere. If you like big hotel resorts, many people and activities at hotel, this place is not good choice for you! Actually we felt like at home there and it was because of the owners. Lesley and Colin are really special people. Very friendly, kind, with true passion to their job. They dont want only take your money, they really care about yourself and want to your holidays was perfect. We really apreciated so many good advices which we got, and also so many interesting informations about Zanzibar and living there. We definetely recommended to taste a delicious diner. Also the breakfast was very good included local fruits. The room was simple and clean with enough space. Unfourtunatelly we had a short time here, wish to come back one day.

Where do I start? Absolutely beautiful hotel ran by the nicest couple. I needed to recharge far from the madding crowd and this was the perfect place. Fabulous hotel! Don’t look anywhere else , Zanzibar House is the perfect getaway.

Hospitality, very good interior design, very good services . The owner made our experience memorable and I would recommend it for a stay in Jambiani.
