I love everything about the property, very close to the village where you can find supermarket, restaurants, and any other kind of tour that I was looking for. 1min walking to the beach , not packed beach and with very chilled vibes, perfect for couples and families. The rooms are beautiful and comfortables, details oriented. Pool just for us anytime we wanted , and the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday for the climate impact we found it very ecological and nice, something that we appreciate.

It was a wonderful place to relax, right by the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was truly special. Olivia and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. The village is small but charming, with a beautiful beach and a few cozy restaurants. Mama Root offers breakfast, and upon request, serves delicious lunch and dinner. While there isn’t a 24/7 kitchen, food and drinks are always within easy reach at the nearby beach spots. Guesthouse No. 1 has five different rooms and one apartment in various categories, ideal for singles, couples, and backpackers. This place was beautiful! We loved that it was set back from the beach so it was quiet, yet we had easy access to the ocean and we had a wonderful view of the turquoise waters from our large covered balcony. The balcony was an extension of our huge and pleasant room. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was delivered to our balcony each morning. The owner was very kind! He allowed us to stay extra time, since our taxi wasn't arriving until after check-out time.

Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. Free private parking is offered on site. We stayed in the "Apartment with Sea View". It felt like we had our own place on the beach, but with 2 people, Colin and Lesley, who cooked us excellent breakfasts and dinners. We loved the fruit crepes. The meals were not only delicious, but. so large we always had left overs for lunch The balcony apartment is quite large and has an am,azing pato with spectacular ocean view. The pool is deep and overlooks the ocean. We had it nearly to ourselves. There is a fridge near ,the pool with beer and soft drinks at very reasonable prices. If you wish a more lively place for drinks, you can go into town or next door to the Skybar. There is direct access to the ocean and while there are sea urchins, I swan in the ocean all 3 days I was there, but made sure I was wearing wster shoes. Some days we walked along the beach several kilometers. Colin and Lesley left us yo ourselves, except during breakfsst and dinner. They were grest hosts.

The breakfast was plentiful, a buffet and you can order from the menu as well. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Had an incredible seafood risotto. This place is magical, artistically decorated, beautiful rooms & right on the gorgeous beach. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Francesco made sure I had everything I needed. Zanzibar House was a true oasis of peace & relaxation.
