We loved the atmosphere, the place is decorated very beautifully. The details are remarkable. The staff and food are great.

The rooms feature trendy and minimalistic design and the beds are draped with a mosquito net. There is a safety deposit box and the private bathrooms are fitted with a shower. A hidden gem in Jambiani Beach. For us, the decision on where to spend our 4 days in Jambiani was between three different hotels. I am so glad we decided to stay at Zanzistar Lodge. This was also by far the cheapest out of the three options. The value for money can´t be beaten. We especially enjoyed the outside hammocks, the beach, the breakfast, the staff, the drinks and the cozy banana garden. Peter, one of the two managers, personally showed us every room. The luggage was taken care of by the staff and we even were invited to a welcome drink as we arrived. The beach bar has excellent food, great drinks and a perfect beach vibe. The beach was our favorite of all the beaches on the island. We went to Matemwe, Nungwi, Kendwa and Kizimkazi, but Jambiani was by far our favorite. The numerous colors of green and blue in the ocean is just spectacular. Thank you to all the staff that went out of their way to make us feel at home and took care of all of our needs. Take good care of them, as it is the people that make places like Zanzistar Lodge worth every penny. For us, we personally enjoy the small boutique hotels over the big resorts. The hospitality here was nothing else than outstanding. We hope to be back sometime in the near future.

Each room here will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. Private bathroom also comes with a shower. The hosts, the food and the service were exceptional. Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Guesthouse No. 1 has five different rooms and one apartment in various categories, ideal for singles, couples, and backpackers. This place was beautiful! We loved that it was set back from the beach so it was quiet, yet we had easy access to the ocean and we had a wonderful view of the turquoise waters from our large covered balcony. The balcony was an extension of our huge and pleasant room. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was delivered to our balcony each morning. The owner was very kind! He allowed us to stay extra time, since our taxi wasn't arriving until after check-out time.

Free private parking is offered on site. Beautiful,Quiet and peaceful,just like at home.The best place in Zanzibar. The spacious rooms have views of the palm grove garden or the Indian Ocean, and include terraces with seating areas. Free Wi-Fi is available is all areas. I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again!
