We spent a few nights in Can Tho in one of Human's bungalo's, and had a magical experience here. Upon arrival we were seated in the open air dining room and immediately were served cold tea and warm conversation.  After settling in and catching our breath, we were given a tour of the "village" and put our things away in our room.  There are five seperate buildings here.  Each has a bathroom of its own, and although they are not fully enclosed, there is mosquito netting on the bed. Human and his family are a pleasure to spend time with.  We got up early to take a tour of the Cai Rang floating market.  At 630 am, we met Human in the dining room, hopped on the bicycles he provided, and rode about twenty minutes through the winding jungle streets to the river.  From there, we got on a boat, checked out the floating market, walked around another market in town (not floating), and then visited a rice noodle factory for a tour, which included a chance to get involved and perform part of the creative act ourselves!  Upon our return we relaxed for a while before dinner, which was prepared by Human's mother - a great cook!  We dined with some other guests and had a great time chatting with them.  We were also lucky enough to meet Human's son Bill,  who is about 15 I believe - a student, and very charming, pleasant young man.  I can't remember his proper name,  but his nickname Bill is in honor of Bill Clinton, who lifted the embargo against Vietnam in 1994.  How do I know that?  Because Human is a great storyteller and guide.  The buildings were designed and raised by Human his brother, who is an engineer who built the nearby Children's Hospital, which has five hundred beds and I believe is a point of pride on Human's part.

It was better than shown online, idyllic setting and an accomodating base for exploring the Mekong delta in its truest sense. Attentive staff, especially Phi, made it welcoming and while it is easy to fall into touristic tropes Phi was able to guide us into a Can Tho rarely seen from visitors. I spent two days and was regretful I had a flight already booked as I would happily have made that my home whilst thoroughly getting to know the delta way of life. Dream like.

The house is in a very quiet spot and easy to get to in the middle of small streets where locals live and you can get to the city center in no time. The room left me speechless it was beautiful, super spacious, bright with fabulous decor. The hosts were really helpful with any of my requests and answered questions right away in the booking app. To get around the city more easily I used the bicycles, they are offered for free and are really practical! We really appreciated the kindness of the owners, Bosa and his wife Phoenix. We felt very welcomed with a lot of attentions. Phoenix is an incredible cook, she served the most tasty and generous diner that we've had in South Vietnam 🤤🥹🙏 We also learned to late that Bosa was doing guided tours of Can Tho, we already booked another guide but it would have been a pleasure to do it with him !

Green Village Mekong is truly a hidden gem! The bungalows are lovely and each have a terrace with two hammocks. We also enjoyed the shared pool very much where you can play Billards next to it. The staff is quick to respond to all request and happily organize tours, massages, scooters and whatever you may need for you. We did the floating marked tour and would highly recommend it! Other than that the hosts have the cutest dogs with 4 little puppies - we still can’t get over how sweet they were!

We have been able to see the "real" floating market, 20km south of Can Tho, see a brick and noodle factory. We had an amazing experience and I would recommend anyone visiting Can Tho to stay at Miss Ha and book these two tours.

Thanks to the family for sharing such lovely rooms with us. The house is new and beautiful, with an elevator. The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
