The rooms were spacious and comfortable and staff super friendly. A good base to get to the floating markets but not a lot else to do in the area. Would definitely recommend.

They had bikes for us to explore as a family. Even my 8 year old could hop in the back of my bike and we could explore the narrow path of the awesome neighborhood.

We spent a few nights in Can Tho in one of Human's bungalo's, and had a magical experience here. Upon arrival we were seated in the open air dining room and immediately were served cold tea and warm conversation.  After settling in and catching our breath, we were given a tour of the "village" and put our things away in our room.  There are five seperate buildings here.  Each has a bathroom of its own, and although they are not fully enclosed, there is mosquito netting on the bed. Human and his family are a pleasure to spend time with.  We got up early to take a tour of the Cai Rang floating market.  At 630 am, we met Human in the dining room, hopped on the bicycles he provided, and rode about twenty minutes through the winding jungle streets to the river.  From there, we got on a boat, checked out the floating market, walked around another market in town (not floating), and then visited a rice noodle factory for a tour, which included a chance to get involved and perform part of the creative act ourselves!  Upon our return we relaxed for a while before dinner, which was prepared by Human's mother - a great cook!  We dined with some other guests and had a great time chatting with them.  We were also lucky enough to meet Human's son Bill,  who is about 15 I believe - a student, and very charming, pleasant young man.  I can't remember his proper name,  but his nickname Bill is in honor of Bill Clinton, who lifted the embargo against Vietnam in 1994.  How do I know that?  Because Human is a great storyteller and guide.  The buildings were designed and raised by Human his brother, who is an engineer who built the nearby Children's Hospital, which has five hundred beds and I believe is a point of pride on Human's part.

They will do all they can to help you out and make your stay comfortable. Room and lobby are nice and clean. You can't go wrong if you choose Queenie house.

The home cooked meal made lovingly by Phoenix were amazing, some of the best food we had in Vietnam. Bosa and family are very welcoming and ensured we had a comfortable stay with them at their home. We all loved it especially our kids.

Our most favourite stay during our 3+ weeks travelling Vietnam! Staff was amazing, food delicious and plentiful, and property so beautiful!! Swimming pool was frequently enjoyed by our kids, free bikes to ride around the country were great, and the tour of the floating markets was incredible (thanks Johnny and Haha!! The most awesome tour guide and captain). Dogs (coffee and pepper) were a bit hit with our kids as well. Absolutely perfect. Thank-you! We hope to be back in the future :)

Thanh Ha Guesthouse has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi in Can Tho. The property can assist guests with arrangements for private Mekong tours. Special diet menus are available on request. Staying at Miss Ha guesthouse was an incredibly memorable experience. She is a wonderful host and tour guide! This lady has so much energy and industry you’ll be amazed! Bossy and kind :) She will take you on very special tours around Mekong Delta that you won’t be able to do with any other tours! She knows everyone in the area, she’ll bring you to locals workshops, make you meet them, chat with them, explain you everything about the area and take care of giving you food along the way. She is like an aunt that you go and visit and have a good time with! She arranges 2 tours. I joined both and can recommend both of them! Price is good I think for the kind of experience she offers. One is in the afternoon (usually starts at 1:30) where you go and experience a few workshops of Mangrovia wood and kind of bamboo baskets, then take you through an amazing boat ride in the middle of the forest and make a stop at a rice field. The other one is in the early morning to visit the Cay Rang markets, another market on land and all the different rice noodles workshops. You’ll move by boat the whole morning (which felt like a day actually ahha as it starts at 5:30 am and finishes at 11). Long story short, if you stay at her place, you gotta do both tours with her!

Thanks to the family for sharing such lovely rooms with us. The house is new and beautiful, with an elevator. The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
