The property is on a channel in a quiet village. It is really wild and calm here. The territory is well maintained and beautiful, i appreciate the enormous amount of work they’re doing here. There is a pond with water lilies by the restaurant, it made my mornings. The place is off the road, so as you arrive by taxi, they send a buggy to pick you up, and you ride by a narrow road by the channel. The staff is smart and very helpful, 5*, they welcomed me with cold tea and fruits, it was touching. Each bungalow has a sitting area, surrounded by greenery. The room is spacious and the bed and pillows are comfortable i slept like a baby. The pool is not very big, but clean and has a lot of sun-beds around. They also have free bicycles and free filtered water.

He is incredibly attentive to his guests and is always there to answer your questions, guide you or simply share his knowledge about Vietnam. The location for this gem is great…you’re in a small village close to the city but it feels quite rural. We stayed 4 nights and felt very spoiled the entire time. The meals, delicious and varied, are cooked by his mother and included in the price. The bungalows are basic but comfortable and clean and the mosquito nets are very welcome. There is a nice space outside each bungalow to relax. There is no air conditioning but we found the fans he provided sufficient. His free bikes are in good condition…the best we had in Vietnam. We don’t usually do a lot of guided trips, preferring to explore on our own, but we were SO glad we did one with Human to the floating markets, noodle factory and land market. It was awesome and personal . We were alone with him and the boatman, a family member, and Human is wealth of information and speaks English very well. We were so glad not to be on one of the bigger impersonal commercial boats! I can’t say enough good things about Human and this homestay. It was my favourite 4 days in Vietnam!

Both Phoenix and Bosa will treat you like family.

Thanh Ha Guesthouse has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi in Can Tho. The property can assist guests with arrangements for private Mekong tours. Special diet menus are available on request. After a week in Vietnam this was my first stay that I really understood what Vietnamese hospitality could and should be like. The host was extremely helpful in all aspects and spoke good english. She not only explains the best way to get to her, but she provided early check in free of charged, gave me a glass of a cold drink and explained everything about the city and gave me a map. And ofcourse I was going there to see the floating markets and the Mekong delta, so I took her guided tour by boat, the price is realy fair and in the tour she will tell you about the local life, you will see 2 floating markets and a few noodle making factories. The host will feed you, give you drinks and sweets, take care of you and will book all your travel needs to continue your journey. She booked all the busses needed for my next destination, a car took me to and from her house for free and I was all set without needing to spend hours searching and googling my way around. Much recommended, be sure to take her tour when you come and just relax and enjoy your time!

The dining area has a small kitchen that's fully equipped—with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishes, and even essentials like fish sauce, soy sauce, cooking oil, and a full set of spices. Man, the young host, was super thoughtful and paid attention to everything we needed.
