Location was great - very close to the river, market and the Walking Street. Our host was able to arrange a great day tour for us which took in all the things we wanted to see. There was a little bit of a mix up regarding an English speaking guide however our host kindly refunded part of the cost and also provided us with a lovely complimentary breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot with great pressure. Our room was right beside some roosters so a bit of noise in the morning - nothing to worry about really unless you are a light sleeper.

Everything was really tidy. We didn't book a room for the night on our last day in Cao Bằng. However, she still made sure there was a bathroom available for us so we could take a shower after our hiking tour. This is a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone!

We had some tea and sweets with the host and some other guests and had a lovely conversation. We were there in off season, so we even got a room upgrade! She recomended us a lot of sightseeing and local restaurants, everything she recomended was great. On the last Night she organised a sleeperbus a very smooth experience. We would definatly come again and recomend to any good friends and family.
