Wild Orchid- Lan Home is a recently renovated homestay in Làng Cac, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The homestay features mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. I don't know where to start! This place is just incredible. The owner "Lan" greeted us with great joy and the perfect vibe after a day on the motorbike. This is not a hostel for big groups an party - more for enjoying the calm vibes of this mountain village and watching her goat "curry" doing goat stuff. The room was super cozy with moskitonets provided, spacious (double room) and decorations that showed her love for the details. We got so many recommendations for the town, the rest of the loop, and also for Vietnam in general. Lan speaks perfect English and has seen a lot of the Country. We were invited to cooking dinner together and that's exactly what we did :) Lan wants to make everyone feel like home and I think she is doing great at just that!

Really lovely and the host prepared a delicious dinner and showed us traditional music instruments and how to play them. Don't expect a 5 star hotel but everything was clean and I would totally recommend it to everyone who wants to step out of the standard Ha Giang circle. The bed was comfy and we had the best sleep in Vietnam.

Tuan and his family cook delicious food every night and take good care of you. Also my friend Maggie lost her wallet in a taxi and Tuan stayed up all night and the next day tracking it down and returning it to us. So so caring, it is a place of love and care here :) Also they can rent you motorbikes and bicycles here, but there are walks up the river or up the mountain which are easy to do
