You are close to the main street but not directly on it. Only a few steps down the quiet alley. I loved all good options nearby where you can truly immerse with the locals, sit down and eat an authentic meal. The staff here was friendly as well making our check in easy. I would recommend this to everyone.

The kitchen is very fast, food is great. The location is out of the centre, but I don’t think it’s a disadvantage. The city is not so charming. This village is more relaxing. You will need to rent a scooter or take a taxi to go there.

We had breakfast pancakes and they were delicious. We booked a day boat trip and bus tickets through her. Worked effortlessly, would recommend other people to do the same. Her prices are definitely competitive.

Thanh and her lovely family genuinely care about their guests—she was especially thoughtful and attentive to my partner when she wasn't feeling well. Thanh made our stay stress-free by helping arrange anything we needed: laundry, scooter rentals, bicycles, taxis, boat tours, bus tickets, and fantastic local restaurant suggestions. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully tailored to our preferences. We enjoyed our stay so much—and there's so much to see and do from Cat Ba—that we even extended our visit. If you need anything during your stay, just ask Thanh directly. She genuinely wants guests to feel at home and comfortable, and she'll happily assist you straight away rather than having you wait or struggle with anything. Highly recommended—this homestay is outstanding value and truly welcoming.
