Great Hostal for a comfortable stay in La Serena.
We stayed only the one night as we were passing through on our way to Vicuña. They let us store our bags at the hostel for a couple of days whilst we were there.
Breakfast was basic but enough. I would stay here again.

Good location - close to the tourist centre, and only ~15 min to the ocean beach, where the famous lighthouse is located. The area (at least now, in the winter) is super quiet and empty. There are very friendly dogs in the hostel and a beautiful patio, very nice to spend time there.

I loved the location, which was very convenient for exploring the city. The breakfast was fantastic, and the café area was really cozy, especially at night. Javier was the best and helped us out so much! It was also great that we could book tours right out of the hostel lobby, and they even stored our luggage for the day.

Very lovely place owned by a German couple. The place has everything you need. Lovely rooms with good shower. A Kantina with good food and very fair prices. It felt very safe.

The staff was great! Helping with any needs, had suggestions where to rent a bike cheap and the hostel is close to the city centre. And they had great stuff in their kitchen for free use (cofee, oats, cuttlery, etc). Gracias a uds por su buenissima atención 🤗

The hostess, or the lady that runs the facility was extremely nice. She had breakfast ready and it's a wonderful home with rooms. The bathroom was very clean, and hot water! Internet worked great. Way better and cheaper than the hostels in the area. I'm sure you'll love it. They don't speak English, but hey just use Google translate. They even do your laundry.

The women’s dorm was FABULOUS. unheard of amenities. I got two pillows, a comforter AND sheets. hasn’t happened yet in all of South America at the budget hostels. room also equipped with lockers and plenty of lounge space as well as a rooftop and equipped kitchen. the woman with long dark hair was absolutely LOVELY and very kind and helpful. one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in months!!
