Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The building is an old home that has been converted into rooms and has a nice feel. The kitchen is good and there js a refrigerator that you can use. The location is good, Lulu the dog is very cute, and I would happily stay here again. There are activities for those who want to join in (football, tejo, salsa, etc.) in collaboration with other hostels if you want to meet people but stay at a more relaxed environment. The breakfast is good and the restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner.

Wonderful place, gorgeous historic colonial house, spacious dorm, private rooms also nice, good breakfast, hot shower, space to chill, books, birds in early morning. Best location of any hostel in Barichara, quiet street, 2 blocks from plaza. Kitchen has sharp knives!! Owner speaks English, very helpful with local information, takes the time to talk with guests. Liked staying here so much stayed 3 nights.

Perfectly located in a quiet street near the central plaza of the town. Beautiful property that has preserved architecture from colonial period and a touch of modernity (like the pool and well equipped communal kitchen). The walls of this hostel, like traditional houses of Barichara, are made with rocks and mud which keep the rooms cool during hot and dry days. Best price for a dorm bed compared to other hostel of this town!

Nice place to stay a couple of days. It's a quiet place, surrounding by nature. We met a friendly dog and cat. The owner was not present but managed to provide what was needed for a good stance.
