Hostels in Praia

A very pleasant stay with Carlos and his staff. The building is architecturally interesting, the rooms are clean, the people there friendly, running water is available, all the city's attractions are nearby, and the host organises airport transfers on request. If I ever go there again, I will gladly choose this place. I still have pleasant memories of that stay. Best regards from Polska :)

The hostel is clean and well located. It's on the hill right above the most popular beach. There is only one expensive hotel (VIP) that is actually on the beach so this was great value ! I just walked down the rainbow stairs to the beach every day ! After traveling in Cape Verde for 2 months to 5 islands I got tired of eating local cuisine (I'm a foodie). I loved the diversity of bars & restaurants in this hip area which was hard to find in the other places I booked in CV. Restaurants nearby that I visited: Livraria Nho Eugenio- great bookstore /cafe Anabela-great brunch spot ! Had vegan food too Cometa- decent fast food Chinese place nearby- lomein was decent Terraza Italia- for CV, pizza is as good as it gets Kampion Africacafe- cheap Nigerian/Senegalese dishes Bars: Poeta Lounge-food is expensive, good for drinks with view Alkimist-cheapest drinks on the beach Kebra Cabana--good hookah and live music Aqva- cool nightclub, bar, restaurant Hope that helps someone! It was a great stay and I wish I could have found this place 2 months ago ! Will have to come back !

I had great stay there! There was a self check in, nice room, clean bathroom, terrace and small kitchen. Close to old centre and Sucupira market.

Staff very kindful and ok. 24h reception. My room was big, air conditioner working ok, good vibes outside. I recomand a stay here.
