As long as you accept that Sleps is a youth hostel and there is likely to be lots of young people staying there then it is an excellent place to stay in Augsburg. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the canteen is good and excellent value. Rooms are fairly small but functional.
We used the secure bike room for our bikes which was perfect for our needs.
