United StatesThis was like finding the needle in the haystack. We were expecting a youth hostel but it turned out to be more of a resort. There was an entire aquatic park, including olympic size swimming pool and several saunas. That alone would have been worth the stay. The facilities are simple but clean and there is a pleasant hallway where you can hang out. Breakfast was very decent.

NorwayThis was perfect for our stay, travelling with 2 older teenagers, and for taking the ferry from Hirsthals the next morning. It was clean and warm, and the beds were comfortable. This would be a great place if travelling with a team for sports events etc.

Denmarklt’s very clean and tidy place. The manager is a very nice person. We arrived and there was no reservation, he arrived when it was already late in the evening and helped us settle in.

So totally what one can reasonably expect from a hostel or "sports hotel". It's probably a good place to stay if you're travelling with a family or group, but also okay as a solo traveller.
