The location is perfect. Check in is automated and without any contact with the staff, but the staff is always available on chat. They allowed us to store our luggage in the staff room for an extra 5 hours. Perfect place to stay!

Perfect location in the centre of Helsinki, a lot of sights can be reached on foot, the rest by public transport (many stops nearby). I loved the cozy atmosphere in the lounge / kitchen area - after a cold December Day outside I was able to snuggle into a wing chair with a warm blanket (from the hostel), a hot cup of tea and a book. The female-only dormitory was really spacious - there was even a sofa and a vanity in the room. The mattress and the bedding were super comfortable; each bed had a reading light, shelves and sockets. The under-bed storage had a very nice size (my open carry-on suitcase and personal item fit perfectly). There were more than enough toilets, but not too many bathrooms / showers (the one in the back after the kitchen was really nice). Everything was very clean and in very good condition.

The hostel beds and sheets were sparkling clean, and the stuff was more than friendly, they helped us having 2 blankets to stay warm, the wifi is also good, and all the rooms of the hostel were well thought to ease the stay

The crew were very good and nice people I feel like I am at home and they are good people and not racists I wish them happiness from the bottom of my heart. I have been to more than 30 countries and I have never seen in my life this treatment that the crew gave me. They are very kind people. I cannot find the words to express what I feel in my heart. Reading the reviews of weird people, the ones who pretend to pay 1€ and expect champagne in the room, I was a bit scared! I was really surprised: 5 minutes because of snow from trams and trains going everywhere; 4 supermarkets in the range of 100 meters, easy to find, right behind the Indian Restaurant, clean, tidy, kitchen with everything; microwave and kettle in the room, beautiful view of the city and sufficiently warm! First night it was a bit noisy until 2am but because of two unpolite girls next room. It will be my first choice if I go back to Helsinki
