The location is fantastic, I had a conference at the University of Helsinki for three days, but I also stayed two more days and went out into the city, and the main station is very easily accessible from there on foot, or if your luggage is heavy, with the trams. The kitchen seems very functional and well equipped, although I didn't have that much time to cook, but it's also a nice common area! The room was decent (5 people mixed dorm), very clean, and didn't feel overcrowded to me. My mattress could have been newer, it had lost a bit of its support. Not the most lively hostel I've stayed at, but since I was there for work, I didn't mind it being quiet in the rooms and hallways. However, they had a nice list of activities for the week, which took place in bars and venues in the area, plus a Whatsapp group so you can connect with other guests. I would have loved to try those out if I'd stayed longer, or if I get the chance to visit again.

Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city centre. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner.

We slept there for 3 nights and are really satisfied with our stay. The location was good and it was easy to find the place. The staff was friendly and helpful, they answered all my questions within minutes. The room and space in general was clean and quiet, bathrooms are spacious and clean, great option for this price :)

The accommodation was perfect and exceeded expectations in every sense. I liked most the functionality of the appartment in the situation of limited resources. The choice of kitchen utensils was very handy and practical, the planning of toilet and shower optimal. Everything was very clean. We are most satisfied with our stay.
