Hostels in Lyon

The staff was super kind and helpful, the furniture new and room and bathroom very clean, and the location of the hostel was very good for travellers as it is not far (5min) from the train station.

The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I will 100% stay there again on my next visit to Lyon!

We came to Lyon for the festival of lights, stayed in the hostel Slo Lyon Saxe for 1 night, and were very pleased. The hostel is conveniently located, there is a metro nearby, and the city center is no more than 15 minutes on foot. Even before our arrival, we received polite letters offering online check-in, explanations of how to get to the hostel, and offers of assistance. The hostel is clean, quiet, there are comfortable beds, new snow-white linen. We had a small room with a bunk bed, like a cabin on a ferry. Toilet, washbasin and shower nearby. The room included a kettle, cups, different types of tea, a small basket of tangerines and sweets, as well as a postcard wishing you a good stay in Lyon and a map of the city with information about the light show. It was very nice! The hostel has a pleasant homely atmosphere, with a tastefully decorated cozy common room and a charming courtyard. In these spacious rooms you can work with a laptop, read, or drink coffee. The audience is nice, mostly young people, but there are also older guests. The staff is friendly, everyone speaks good English. Breakfast looks attractive, but we didn't have breakfast. We had a great sleep, staying in the hostel Slo Lyon Saxe became one of our good memories of our trip to Lyon.

The atmosphere was very laid back, a real travellers meeting point. The roomates were very quiet and respectful.

The walk up the hill was indeed steep, but the views were worth it! The hostels location, just a few minutes walk from old town, had the most amazing views of the city. The beds were some of the comfiest I have slept in at a hostel, and the beds were quite private with a light and multiple plugs. The team was very friendly - I have nothing to complain about!
