I stayed 3 nights in the hostel and I did not want to leave. I have stayed in quite a few hostels now, but this is one that will stay within my memories forever. The staff was very friendly and I had a warm welcome with tea and a tour around the property. Kevin, the owner, does amazing tours and is happy to tell you all about the city and above that, about the Beatles. Special thanks for the staff for having made my stay so memorable. On the last day, I could even check out later and sleep as long as I wanted to. Most hostels would be sticking to their rules, but the flexibility and personal approach of this hostel make you feel you are not just a number.

Location was spot on - right by the Philharmonic Hall where I'd gone for a concert and I could park the hire car safely overnight free opposite. Facilities were as good as you could expect for the price and hostel status and (unexpected) included free coffee, tea, milk , sugar. Reception easy and quick and staff very helpful. Will be using this place from now on for short visits to Liverpool.
