- the staff - very friendly and helpful - I was able to leave my backpack early in the morning and go sightseeing in the area and check in officially when I came back to the hostel in the evening; also, I needed to attend a 2-hour online lecture on my phone that evening - the receptionist found a quiet place for me with access to both wifi and a socket - clean showers and bathrooms - open kitchen combined with the sitting room
