Easily one of my favorite places in Sri Lanka, the place was simply amazing, right in the beach, room was nice, food was amazing and staff was super chill and friendly!

I had a wonderful stay at Snooze Station. The location next to bus station is great. Its just a short walk to fort Galle. The rooms are clean and specious. The staff was most welcoming friendly and helpful. The owner even explained me everything about the story and long history about this hostel/building. Highly recomment.

The garden is incredible. It feels like you are in the jungle but you are actually 3-5 minutes tuc tuc (0.6€) away from the beach and Galle fort. If I am back in the city this will be my hostal again.

This is a very special place 😊 We remember him with warmth ☺️ It's a very fun and relaxed environment. A wonderful family that accepts you as one of their own. The wonderful garden provides an excellent opportunity to observe animals: squirrels, lizards, mongooses. And very tasty food. Especially the biryani.😋 Ocean across the road. We stayed here in this place very cozy and reasonable price, and the homeowner was very hospitable.He always help us to sketch exact location for the places we go in city like beaches, etc. We stayed here for 4 days. Since day one until our last day before we left the house, his always preparing us coffee and sometimes fruits.This place is located in Galle less than 10 mins. via tuk-tuk from Galle Railway Station and Galle Fort.You are allowed to cook from there kitchen and can wash your clothes.Plus you will have a chance to meet this friendly giant dog 😍

The hostel was immaculate, the air con was nice and strong and most importantly the owner was incredible. A group of us quickly became friends and whenever we needed anything the owner went out of his way to help us. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him. What a hidden gem in a beautiful area. As a woman, I felt very safe and the owners also take into account measures to explicitly make female traveller's feel safe. I can't reccomend this place enough!

Habibi hostel is set in a lovely building up the hill from Unawatuna, cool chill out space on rooftop. Guy who runs it is top notch and really made our stay! Rooms are lovely and v spacious and have nice balconies to sit out. Also in close proximity to the other beach in Unawatuna, Jungle Beach.
