It's clean and rooms are AC'd and spacious. I very much appreciate big, lockable storage room under every bed. Nice and clean toaletts and showers. Coworking space is extra 2250. But the internet is really fast, no power outages and 2 americanos are included per day

You feel like in a luxurious resort and not a hostel. Its incredibly clean, they clean the dorms everyday and it smells amazing, they also change bed linen and towels every second day. The dorms a big with spacious locker for your bag, the bed is super comfy and has power sockets, little table and a lamp. The pool is clean and almost always in a shade so you can chill there. The property is massive and feels so relaxing. They do daily yoga and also have a WhatsApp group where they organise daily activities. You can have cheap breakfast and drinks there. So I cannot really evaluate this particular hostel because they made a mistake during my booking, so instead of a bed in a dormitory I got a whole room in a different hotel. It was actually the best room I’ve slept in Sri Lanka and I had like 10 different accommodations. BUT it was so nice in Cotels Mirissa inside, there was AC, I also had a breakfast there which was really nice. Staff was super helpful and friendly and it really managed this whole situation.

The family room in Banana bunks was great for our family. But it is not really the room that was important- it was the use of the fabulous Petti Petti Beach Club.This great beach club is right on the beach (whereas the accommodation is across a main road, a minute’s walk away) and owned by the same people, so you get a discount on the food which is delicious and great value. We made the most of having breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all meals were great, along with lounging around the pool and hiring surfboards from the beach. The staff were very friendly too, so all in all a great place to stay in Mirissa.

A hidden gem of a hostel! Tucked away, but worth the discovery. The host went above and beyond, making our stay truly memorable. While the road to the hostel is narrow and easy to miss, the experience is well worth it. Don't forget to turn on your maps for navigation. We'd definitely visit again - a charming retreat with exceptional hospitality!
